German Biedermeier (18th Century) olivewood secretary / bookcase in shaped rectangular with the top section having a hinged 2-door shelved cabinet with glass windows bordered by parcel gilt molded trim; the bottom section features a trapezoidal top with dropdown hinged compartment, the interior painted in a vibrant rouge an exterior inlaid with diamond-shaped parquetry above a 2-shelf compartment concealed by a tambour door, all resting on four turned parcel feet
