About the Item

The Mahogany Secretary Desk from Niagara Furniture. This reproduction slant front writing desk has all the outstanding qualities of an antique original. Made of select mahogany solids and veneers the bookcase has a lovely hand carved swan neck, arched pediment. There are two glass shelves in the upper section of the bookcase. The desk section has four graduated drawers resting over top of shaped, ogee bracket feet. The interior of the desk is fitted with a bank of serpentine shaped drawers each of which is dovetailed and custom fit for it’s compartment. An extremely functional piece of furniture with useful storage space, this high quality Mahogany Secretary Desk is a work of art in itself. It will be the focal point in any room setting.
