About the Item
Mid 19th-century Swedish pine secretary with newer professionally applied layered blue exterior painted finish. Upper glass panes allow for beautiful display of any collection held within.
Layers of color create subtle tonal variation. Interior reveals a contrasting brown-black finish with original wood pulls on petite drawers.
Desk surface rests on extending arms; drawers show typical age-related separations and traces of old wormholes.
Restored, strong, and stable; a striking Swedish secretary with depth and patina. Staining, cracks, and repairs consistent with age. Back displays old wormholes and separations. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this secretary.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
