We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare and highly collectable, ornately carved, circa 1860 Jacobean revival, Antique Library Bureau bookcase

What a piece! Hand carved from every single angle, with oversized solid brass Regency Lion's head handles, can you imagine how much it would cost to have something like this made today!
The middle section has a bureau with green baize writing surface, there are a number of drawers and shelves. There is a bank of drawers to the base
Condition wise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it, there are some normal age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect from a 170 year old piece.
