About the Item
This is a functional and beautiful piece with many unique features. The drawers pulls and escutcheons are a geometric delight, made of pewter/brass and black cellulose. Deep and generous drawers include original locks and keys, which all function smoothly. At chest level while standing, you will find a very nicely appointed little writing surface complete with a cabinet for stationary supplies and drawers for correspondence.
Some scratches and fading of the original finish occur throughout, only adding to the patina of this fully functioning antique.

The choice of carefully selected French walnut veneers...
