About the Item
Secrétaire panelled in rosewood and inlaid in different woods, France, late 18th century. The body is entirely panelled with herringbone panels within inlaid Greek-style frames. On the front, two doors and a door that opens to four compartments and six small drawers. Under the top a drawer. Inlaid pilasters and truncated feet with metal shoes. Marble top.
