Provenance: Sotheby's NY. The secretary with a drop front in the form of three drawers but opening to drawers and cubby holes. With a black tooled writing surface. The stand with two frieze drawers, fine brass bales overall. Lacking a key. Raised on Chinese Chippendale style square legs with spandrels.
W. 37 3/4", Depth 18", H. 41 1/4"
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are age-related scratches and dings with some finish loss on the top, the door does not close flush, the stand with stable age cracks on the sides, the front right leg with a lost spandrel inside edge, but overall good and presenting very well.
