About the Item

1940s tall chest of drawers – bank of drawers – twenty eight drawers 1940s tall chest of drawers – bank of drawers – twenty eight drawers Sourced from a bank in the North Of England this chest was tucked away in the store room. It is a heavy and substantial piece made from pitch pine throughout and luckily retiming all its original cast brass cup handles and name marker plates. This is a large and handsome statement piece. All drawers run smoothly. Internal drawer dimensions: 49L x 19W x 21H all cm. Workshop Report Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
