About the Item

ANTIQUE WOODEN STORAGE SHELVES Originally from a workshop or atelier, this storage unit was originally designed to store hardware, but can now be used for various purposes in both domestic and retail settings. Constructed from pine with layers of original and period paint, which has naturally worn over time from use to great effect. The top layer being largely dark green with one red side, and the internal cubby holes are unpainted. Probably dating from the late 19th century period. It is in good vintage condition, it is solid, sturdy and does its job very well. There is some cosmetic wear from its use over the years, which we think adds to its charm and tells its story. There is some old, dead woodworm present, which has been treated for good measure. Measuring 151cm wide x 26cm deep x 79cm high.
