One-of-a-kind Sideboard. The object is made from a Metal Volume that has been spontaneously shaped by an explosion, and hand treated to reach a soft touch. Part of a series of three furniture pieces, Metal Volumes have been exploded at various energy levels in a sequence of crafted detonations. These elements have been treated to reach a completely unique aesthetic and feel. The process and the inherent uncertainty of the outcome is a defining element of the work.
