A sculptural wooden shelf whose presence is defined by an extraordinary, time-worn surface of deep red and chalky pink paint. The finish has softened through decades of use, creating an organic pattern of abrasion, exposed grain, and mineral-like coloration. Each plane—legs, rails, and slatted shelves—reveals a different rhythm in the patina, giving the piece an almost painterly texture.
The structure is simple and utilitarian: two tiers of slatted shelving framed by upright posts with subtly rounded edges. Its open form allows light to move through it, making the patina appear almost atmospheric from different angles.
