About the Item
Modular wall unit or room divider designed by Jos De Mey for Van den Berghe-Pauvers, Ghent Belgium. 1958. Four black metal mounted on oblique, four tapering legs, brass stretchers adjustable in length 250- 300 cm, the shelves are supported by metal round holders multiple teak shelves (14). The 4 poles can be fixed between the floor and ceiling and can be used in any part of the house, bedroom or office.One Dry bar unit.
Dimensions: 14 shelves *H 2 cm, *D 20 cm, *W 80 cm. Total Width section 240 cm height adjustable from 250 cm till 300 cm. It's also possible to turn a part of the section in the setup with one turn so that an angle is created.The Freestanding unit is in original good condition.

Jos De Mey
Jos De Mey was a Flemish-Belgian painter. He is primarily known for depictions of impossible objects in a photo-realistic style, with acrylic paintings constituting the majority of his work. He frequently depicted characters of other artists, notably Magritte, M. C. Escher, and Bruegel. Prior to his focus on painting, he taught and studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. At the time of his death De Mey resided in Zomergem, Belgium.
