19th Century Swedish Gray Painted Pine Sideboard
Swedish pine sideboard with fluted panel doors, painted finish in light gray with antique white undertones. The surface has been scraped and distressed, revealing the warm natural pine beneath and enhancing the piece’s aged character. The painted finish is old, but likely not original to the construction from the mid-1800's.
The upper section includes two drawers positioned above two paneled cabinet doors. Original hinges remain in place and operate smoothly. The right door secures with an exterior wood notch closure. Interior shelving is uniquely arranged to provide practical storage options.
Restored, strong, and stable, this sideboard is ready for use and offers classic Swedish country styling suitable for dining rooms, kitchens, or entry spaces.
Age-related cracks are visible along the top, doors, and sides, with surface wear including nicks and scratches consistent with long use.
