A very good looking well made and original piece, made in the Regency era so circa 1810-1820, this piece has a repoussé hand painted a lacquered finish, it is faux rosewood decorated which was the absolute height of the fashion in the day, it showed you were ahead of all the current fashion trends within furniture connoisseurs
The condition is very good for the period, there will of course be age and use related patina marks all over as you would expect from a 200+ year old piece, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom
