Art Deco, ‘Amsterdam School’ Oak Cabinet with black rosewood accents and geometrically decorated glass door. Beautiful oak grain with two large storage cabinets, stacked middle drawers and headboard attachment. Similar in aesthetics to Frank Lloyd Wright, the "The Hague School" and the "Amsterdam School" styles of design can be considered the Dutch versions of the "Art Deco" movement and were instrumental in clearing the path for the following modernist movement of the post-war period. This piece, a lovely example of the style is in original condition with some visible wear consistent with age and use. There is a cord hole in back made by previous owner. Shown with a pair of Bobbin tripod chairs (please inquire), listed separately.
