A striking example of French Art Deco design from the 1930s – this restored sideboard blends clean geometry with decorative flair, noble materials with functional sophistication.
Its black high-gloss lacquered body is beautifully contrasted by the rich walnut veneer of the drawer and door fronts. The glossy surface enhances the natural depth of the wood grain, giving the piece a captivating presence.
The standout feature is the cylindrical central handle on the lower cabinet doors: when pushed to the side, it reveals a hidden keyhole – an elegant mechanical touch that delights with its ingenuity.
The rounded side elements are adorned with high-gloss floral carvings and vertical fluted detailing – a signature Art Deco motif that combines modern elegance with ornamental tradition.
