About the Item

A sculptural 2-piece sideboard by Ugo La Pietra, titled “Breccia.” The cabinet rises like a wooden landscape: jagged, mountain-like silhouettes emerge from a clean geometric base, with organic cutouts in the upper compartments. The result is a striking dialogue between architecture and nature, a hallmark of La Pietra’s work. Made of maple wood, veneer, and glass. Metal/leather straps. His work explores the relationship between people, objects, and the urban landscape. With Breccia, he transformed geological fractures into furniture.
