About the Item

Superb large Scandinavian sideboard. Two large sliding doors, known as "tavern" or "roll-top" doors, made of thin wooden slats that allow the doors to retract into the cabinet. The left side opens to a very large shelf, and the right side to a smaller shelf. Four large drawers are located in the center. Beautifully crafted with ample storage capacity. The design is understated and elegant. This piece is listed in the Design Museum Denmark. A rare find.
