About the Item

The sideboard can be positioned against a wall or used to divide a space, thanks to its double-sided doors. This model includes multiple storage compartments with practical trays, fronted by moulded plastic panels in a color scheme ranging from dark brown to a lighter grey-brown on both sides. The structure combines lacquered wood with a metal base, characteristic of the DF 2000 line’s blend of modernist materials. The DF 2000 collection reflects Loewy’s interest in modularity and futuristic aesthetics, making this sideboard a representative example of French modernist design from the period. Origination: France, late 1960s. Labelled DF200, Stamped “Made in France” on underside Materials: Molded plastic, lacquered wood, metal Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age and use, including surface wear: Some losses of lacquer finish as per images, minor scratches on the top surface.
