A very good looking, decorative and well-made pair, they are a unique size, I have included a picture next to a good sized dining chair so you can see just how large they are, I think they were designed as very large nightstands or side tables for a living room area, to seat a lamp, picture frame or two and a glass of wine, they are large enough to be used as mentioned as medium sized sideboards
Wherever they end up, they will look grand and important, the timber patina is glorious and in the right light it simply glows, they have a mixture of Burr
Burl Oak, there is some nice inlay and carvings to the base frame and stretcher, this really is an exquisite pair
Each piece has the original Plaques on the top inside left
We have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, they have age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect based on the age and normal use, this is mostly limited to some light marks on the tops
