French Art Deco Sideboard
A striking French Art Deco sideboard, circa 1930s, crafted in richly figured rosewood with contrasting oak doors. This elegant piece exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and luxurious material combinations that defined French design of the period.
The sideboard features a symmetrical design with a central bank of four drawers, flanked by two large cupboard doors with beautiful radial oak veneer detailing. Both doors retain their working locks and original keys. Each cupboard includes adjustable shelves, providing flexible and practical storage. The fluted parquet columns to either side add a subtle architectural rhythm, complemented by fine brass detailing and sabots.
Beautifully proportioned and meticulously restored, this is a superb example of 1930s French cabinetmaking — ideal for a dining room, living room, or design-led interior seeking statement Art Deco elegance.
