About the Item
A large and very well made French style Cabinet with fine form and function. With an elaborately carved shaped case with foliate scrolled decoration, recessed sides with doors and escutcheons and a center double door cabinet with escutcheon. All with carved and shaped recessed panels and sides and single inside shaped shelves. Two side apron drawers. Bronze hardware. The banded top with parquetry center. Raised on carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaves. With a key.
Dimensions: 106 1/2" L, 26" D, 42 1/2" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include a worn top with stains and old gouges and scratching. There are several impressions to the wood and gouges to the right back top edge all being mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is strong and admirable.
