The top section's decorated edge has an inverted centre section above a single long drawer, flanked by two short deep drawers. The right hand drawer is fitted with wooden divisions and the left hand drawer is lead lined with all the locks having been replaced and the original wooden knobs having been removed at some point to accommodate the existing gilt brass ring-pulled handles.
