About the Item

This remarkable Italian sideboard from the 1940s is a high-quality artisanal piece, crafted with exceptional care and refined materials. The front features five maple doors, each decorated with a faceted geometric pattern. The central door opens to reveal five internal drawers, offering organized and elegant storage. The sides are made of oak, enriched with a hand-carved incised decoration finished with a green patina. The delicate contrast between the natural oak and the green patinated carving highlights the precision and the artistic sensibility behind this work. Such a sophisticated technique is the result of the expertise and professionalism of the finest Lombardy artisan workshops active during the 1940s. The brass handles, decorated with star motifs, add a precious and distinctive touch. The combination of carved details, premium woods, refined patina and decorative brass elements places this sideboard at a very high level of craftsmanship, rarely encountered today.
