About the Item

Stunning and extremely rare Italian wall-mounted sideboard from the 1950s, a truly unique piece designed in the manner of Paolo Buffa or Vittorio Dassi. Its exceptional character lies in several remarkable features, starting with the impressive scale of its walnut structure, elegantly wall-mounted in suspension, giving the piece a light and architectural presence. Equally striking are the four front drop-leaf doors, refined with vertical grissinato-style inserts—an exquisite detail that reveals its full beauty when seen in person. Behind the doors, generous internal compartments are finished in maple and fitted with shelves , offering ample and well-organized storage space. The chest of drawers under the doors is truly original and consists of three spacious drawers with a wonderful "grissinato" front design. The sideboard is supported by two metal supports composed of three tubes with a refined concentric line, which can be removed if desired, they are screwed on, as the sideboard is suspended from the wall. This piece can be easily placed in any room as it can be dismantled into two pieces. Both visually impactful and highly functional, this sideboard is a versatile statement piece that would enhance any refined modern interior, whether residential or professional. The sideboard is in good conditions as it has been recently restored by an expert craftsman. It is now ready for use.
