About the Item
An impressive 17th-century oak coffer with gorgeous colour and patina. The chest is super large at 142cm x 58cm x 66cm high. There are four panelled sections at the front and back and a beautifully carved motif at the front. The coffer is hand-carved and has pegged joint construction. The hinges are cast iron. Sits off the floor on four legs.
Lovely antique condition with normal signs of age.
