About the Item

Late 19th-century French oak sideboard converted into a unique 9' long standing bar. Features carved arches, half-column details, and dark oak finish with rich patina. The added bar top is made from old boxcar flooring, bearing deep gouges and scratches that tell its industrial past. Interior shelving, base, and back have been replaced with pine for reinforcement over time. One key included for cabinet doors (old locks may work inconsistently, key/s may also be used as pulls only). Restored, strong, and stable. A one-of-a-kind statement piece combining historic French craftsmanship with utilitarian character. All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation at joints are reflective of age and do not detract from the strong presence nor function of this unique find. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
