About the Item

Found in England, this painted server dates from the 1880s. This server features three functional drawers with dovetail construction and wood knobs. There is an escutcheon on the middle drawer, but no key found with this piece. We believe the wood is pine and it has an antique white painted finish. Crack to one of the side panels - see detail photos of sides. Sturdy, versatile piece. The front and side aprons are accented with decorative cut details. Sturdy, versatile piece. Unknown maker.
