About the Item
This narrow console has an Italianesque feel, due to the stylized paint which is old but not original to this pine sideboard from Hungary. Lovely marbleized earthtones, flowers, and geometric flourishes captures the eye.
The original lock still functions with key which is included.
Restored, strong and stable this narrow sideboard is ready for use. Note scratches, gouges, nicks etc. seen especially along the top and skirt. Old repairs seen along the back, evidence of old wormholes.
All scratches, cracks, nicks (bottom right corner, edges, etc), and age related separation (see sides, back, corners, etc.) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special sideboard.

This antique cabinet from Italy has a rectangular-shape, with front corners convexly scalloped inward, giving this piece a lovely shaped.
