About the Item

This is a luxurious piece that reflects the craftsmanship of Maison Krieger, a distinguished French furniture manufacturing company. This piece was procured from an esteemed estate located in Greenwich, Connecticut. Crafted from rich mahogany and adorned with gilt bronze embellishments, this sideboard is a testament to the high-quality and finely crafted pieces for which Maison Krieger was renowned. The gray marble top, though placed and not affixed, adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. Featuring three cabinets and three pull-out drawers, each with its own key, the sideboard provides both practical storage and exquisite detailing. The piece bears the marks of its age, with appropriate wear, scratches in the wood, and a broken piece of molding by the mirror (which is retained in the drawer). Chips around the edge of the marble and a maker's label from Paris on the top edge of the middle drawer further contribute to its unique character. Please note, this item is located in our Scranton, PA location.
