About the Item

This substantial sideboard combines the beauty of straight-grained Hungarian oak and a black marble top with white veining. The case is long and lovely with two sliding doors covering ample storage bins on each side of the multi-drawered center section. The color of the oak case, doors and legs is blonde, with a slightly bleached cast. A matte sealer has been applied that protects with wood without adding any gloss or yellow tones. The interior of the drawers is walnut. The top is a strikingly beautiful slab of glossy black and white marble that contrasts vividly with the restrained color and finish of the wood case. Though the piece is new, it has a strong Mid-century vibe and has the heft to blend with all kinds of contemporary décor.
