About the Item

In this listing you will find a unique sideboard or chest of drawers designed in a Mid-Century Modern or Space Age style. Similar pieces, featuring bentwood construction and a warm, sometimes vibrant, orange finish have been attributed to designers like Pierre Cardin, Mario Sabot and Luísa Peixoto. The unit showcases smooth, rounded edges and an integrated open shelf section on the left, which breaks away from traditional, boxy shapes to create a sense of fluidity and modern elegance. It is crafted from solud walnut and plywood, finished in a distinct orange-toned stain or lacquer, typical of the warm autumn color palettes popular in mid-century modern decor. The base and the drawer handles are done in a darker walnut wood. Made in Italy in the 1970s. The sideboard is in good vintage condition with some signs of time and use. When purchased the sideboard will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package.
