About the Item
A beautiful 1960s sideboard by quality cabinet maker Vanson. This sideboard was handmade in England with beautiful solid sapele and teak woods. The sideboard has two cupboards and three central drawers which are finished with beautifully shaped, solid brass handles. The interior has a bar shelf to the left and single shelf cupboard to the right. The 3 equal sized central drawers are fitted with green baize and the original cutlery trays in the top drawer. Original Vanson label still present in the top drawer. This sideboard has a wonderful unique shape which gets slightly wider at the front edge, the table top ending in nicely rounded corners with a carved groove in the front egdes, which adds a touch of quality by revealing the solid wood of the structure. The legs of this sideboard are slim from the front angle and shaped to a flat surface from the sides.
There are a few marks throughout the table top and a slight stripe under the handle on the left door. some ring marks inside the right cupboard. Please see pics. This sideboard still looks very neat overall and is very solid.
