About the Item
The cabinet shows the refined elegance of late Georgian English Neoclassicism, inspired by an original design from around 1790. Its curved front is made with carefully matched crotch mahogany veneers, creating a balanced and rich look across the three doors.
Neoclassical inlays decorate the outside with ribbon-tied swags, husk garlands, and Greek key corners, all features of the Adam style. Inside, shelves offer practical storage. The cabinet stands on tapered, fluted legs for a balanced look, and cast brass feet and fittings add a touch of gold, highlighting the careful craftsmanship and classic style.
