About the Item

Designed in the 1960s by Luigi Bartolini, this impressive Italian sideboard exemplifies the sleek, modern aesthetic of the mid-century era. The structure is crafted in rich mahogany veneer and elevated on a polished chrome metal base, with adjustable solid brass feet that combine practicality with elegance. (Designer’s label present inside, see image.) On the left side, eight spacious drawers are arranged in two vertical rows, providing generous storage. The right side features a pair of swing doors that open to reveal two internal shelves—ideal for organizing dishes, linens, or other household items. Delicate details, such as the finely shaped handles and clean proportions, lend the piece a refined, understated character. While Italian in origin, the sideboard carries clear echoes of French design influences from the same period, marked by its lightness and precision. An eye-catching and functional piece, this sideboard will bring structure, warmth, and timeless style to any modern living or dining space.
