About the Item

A very good quality late 19th century French break fronted marble topped Vitrine. Having wonderful classical gilded ormolu mounts and plaques with scrollingq C scrolls, foliage, Rams and putti blowing horns. Parquetry inlay to the door fronts and sides, the central hinged door opens to reveal adjustable glass shelves within. A Wedgwood porcelain style plaque with classical scene to the center. Raised on turned tapering ormolu mounted feet. In the manner of Francoise Linke.
