About the Item

19th century Louis XV style curio display table, mahogany with bronze mounts French Louis XV style elegant mahogany and bronze decorated display vitrine table. The table has four sided, curved and bent glass panels, which are trimmed with the finest casted bronze decorations. The tabletop has a beveled glass inset. The bronze hinges are of high quality. The interior has retained the original blue velvet. This table is an outstanding example of the excellence of French furniture makers. Very good overall condition, consistent with age and use. One back glass panel has a clean crack. One leg shows a small repair to the mahogany. The original velvet has some discoloration and some stains. The glass top has a few age related scratches. Measurements: 31” H x 35” W x 23.5” D.
