A most unusual c1880 Aesthetic Period pedestal with vitrine in the manner of Frank Furness. Stylistic details which include geometric sunflower motifs on the stand point toward Philadelphia manufacture. Aesthetic period furniture such as this stand blends effortlessly with most interior decorating schemes as its form is essentially modern.
