About the Item

A beautiful and most decorative French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated wood vitrine cabinet. The four door vitrine is raised by elegant topie shaped feet below the straight mottled border. The two bottom doors display a most decorative recessed square design with lovely richly carved foliate designs at each corner framed within a wrap around mottled border and which open to reveal one shelf and all original hardware. At the center is a charming patinated pullout below the two additional doors retaining all of their original glass panes and which open to reveal three adjustable shelves and also all original hardware. The sides each display two recessed panels with the top crown displaying a most elegant mottled design. All original patina throughout.
