About the Item

An elegant and high quality French 19th century Transitional st. Tulipwood, Ormolu and Marble vitrine cabinet. This handsome cabinet is raised by Tulipwood cabriole legs fitted with Ormolu sabots and foliate corner mounts leading up to a straight apron decorated with an Ormolu bow tied ribbon central reserve. The lower cabinet is enclosed by a pair of doors with diapered gilt mesh front panels, trimmed with a mottled Ormolu border and accented by finely chased berried laurel keyhole escutcheons.
