French Oak Hunt Display Cabinet Louis XIII Style
This Neo-Gothic Oak Hunt Display Cabinet features prolific deep relief carving throughout.
On the top an arched pediment with a central oval cartouche is flanked by matching finials.
To the centre below is a deep relief carving of a mythical beast and detailed foliage to each side.
The clear glazed door opens to reveal three adjustable shelves and a beautifully made back panel.
To each side are full length barley twist columns.
The lower section / cabinet has a full-width drawer on top that has deeply carved floral decoration and a drawer pull.
Below is a wonderfully carved door with further deep relief carving and twisted columns to each side.
Within is a single shelf that can be set at any level.
This exquisite cabinet has a lovely aged patina and is in excellent condition, having been cleaned and waxed in our workshop.
Both doors have working locks and keys.
The top cabinet is removable for transport and the cabinet will be packed and transported in three parts.
