About the Item
Exquisite Italian painted vitrine from the early 20th century, richly decorated with hand-painted romantic scenes inspired by 18th-century pastoral art. The front and sides feature finely detailed figures, cherubs, and floral motifs, executed in warm tones with charming patina.
The vitrine is surmounted by a shaped pediment adorned with painted garlands, and the façade opens with two glass doors revealing shelves for display. The lower section, also hand-painted, is gently curved and raised on carved scroll feet, adding elegance and stability. Original gilt bronze mounts and decorative brass gallery complete this remarkable piece.
A perfect collector’s cabinet or display vitrine, blending artistry and functionality with undeniable Italian charm.
