About the Item
This totally refurbished Louis XV-style features an ormolu-mounted top inset with a glass panel. The lockable top opens on three hinges, revealing a sumptuous interior lined with pink textile. Surrounding the display space are glass panels, each encased in a delicate ormolu frame. The shaped apron seamlessly connects the four cabriole legs, which are capped with ormolu sabots that mirror the intricate design of the corner friezes. The friezes, attached to the knees of the legs, are adorned with ormolu mounts cast in scrolling yet refined shapes. The meticulously arranged wood veneers further highlight the craftsmanship that defined French furniture making of the era.
Superbly crafted, this bijouterie table serves as an exquisite display piece for precious collectibles, its lavish design elevating the significance of the items it showcases.
