Marble Top French Ormolu Kingwood Inlaid Marquetry Vitrine Attributed To Linke Dimensions : 55" Wide X 47" Tall X 16" Deep This gorgeous vitrine was made in the 19th century in France and is attributed to Francois Linke. The locks are stamped Duviver Paris who make locks for Francois Linke and Antone Kreiger early in their careers. The bronze and construction are top notch and some of the highest quality being made at the time. The vitrine is similar in form to Francois Linkes Index # 161. The grain and inlay work on this vitrine is fabulous. This vitrine was purchase at Christie's in the 1990's and is an investment grade antique.
