About the Item
An extraordinarily tall mid-18th century Louis XV Provincial fruitwood narrow armoire/bonnetiere with a rectangular cornice. The frieze is centered by a basket of flowers, the wire mesh inset door is carved with laurel leaves, straw hat and gardening tools. The entire piece is raise on cabriole legs. The inside is ready to be finished out however it suits the new interior space. Originally purchased from Sotheby's New York.
