About the Item
1960’s Good Sized Mid Century White Door Open Wardrobe – Up Zavody.
Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody and designed by Frantisek Mezulanik. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The main cabinet is made from well figured birch with a contrasting interior. The whole cabinet is beautifully made sitting on dark sapele pin legs. The interior features a full hanging rail space on the right and a number shelves on the left. It comes with a mirror on the inside lefthand door and an extra hanging rail on the inside of the righthand door. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet so all drawers and doors run well.
