About the Item

This single door pine armoire is know as a "False Front Secretary." It was designed to look like a secretary with a drop desk and drawers underneath, but this is just an "illusion" due to the decorative paneling of the single door. Note the lovely art deco inspired carving that accents each side, and unique interior hanging pegs on the left side. Door opens with pull in upper left corner. The two drawers under the door are functional, a skeleton key will be included to use as a "pull." This cabinet is restored, strong and stable. The pine is waxed, bringing out the warmth of the wood. Shelf or hanging rod may be added, please inquire regarding cost if of interest. All scratches, cracks, nicks, dried old wormholes, age related separation, etc. are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely cabinet. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
