Introducing this fantastic mid-19th century Italian antique wardrobe, dating back to the Louis Philippe period. A wardrobe with a timeless antique charm!
Made of solid poplar wood in a beautiful light shade, easy to match with any furniture color. Featuring a very linear structure, without excessive ornamentation, a turned decoration on the front creates a frame on the sides and softens its linearity. The doors have a particular grooved decoration that in Italy is called "Grissinata". Equipped with a practical drawer in the lower part for additional storage solutions. Internally it has a rod for hanging clothes. Please note that the interior can be modified according to your needs by adding shelves; the request must be made before ordering.
The wardrobe will be shipped disassembled, assembly is not included in the delivery, but we can provide a support video. Please note that this is a wardrobe whose assembly is very simple because it is divided in half into two separate bodies.
This wardrobe tells a part of the history of Italian furniture, being a type of wardrobe very popular in the 19th century among families in northern Italy, especially in Piedmont. Although in our opinion it is perfect for furnishing a country or mountain home, its antique charm can also bring warmth to a modern urban environment. Also consider that its small size allows for versatile use in any environment: entrance, bedroom or even bathroom.
In terms of conservation, the wardrobe is in good general condition with minimal signs of wear compatible with its age.
