Two-door armoire decorated with four neoclassical paintings by Jean-Paul Delhumeau (France, 1922-2003) representing four continents—Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe. Maker's mark on verso. Exhibited: - Salon de l’Imagerie 1947. Same model with doors painted by Jean Picart-Ledoux shown during this event. - Salon du Beau dans l’Utile, Pavillon de Marsan, 1948. Same model with doors painted by Jean Picart-Ledoux shown during this event. The removable painted panels by Jean-Paul Delhumeau are also shown.
