We are is delighted to offer for sale this stunning original 1818 dated Antique German Marriage wardrobe in very a rare light blue paint I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks, I have around 15 wardrobes and 20 trunks in total, each one totally different, this sale is for the piece listed above with all others being listed under my other items This one is an exceptionally good looking well made and collectable wardrobe, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, the piece comes complete with the original lock and key which are fully functional. This is not super tall, 167.5cm so it's easier to transport Inside you have one long cloth's rail with coat hooks to the back Condition wise this wardrobe has all the original paint and finish, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe Dimensions Height:- 167.5cm Width:- 123cm Depth:- 51.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
